GOVERNMENT HOUSE.
HONGKONG. 26th. September, 1917.
I have the honour to state that a Mr. F. C. Millington, holding a temporary commission locally in the
Royal Garrison Artillery, has applied for a post of Assistant Master in the Education Department when he is released from the Army after the termination of the war.
2.
r. Millington is a Trained (Diocesan College, York) and Certificated Master and has good testimonials. The Director of Education regards him as in every way suitable for an appointment.
3.
There is a post vacant in the department and I have accordingly to recommend that this be offered to ir......
Millington, the commencing salary to be £360 instead of £300,
in view of the fact that Mr. Millington is 29 years of age and
has had considerable practical experience as a Schoolmaster.
I have the honour to be,
sir.
Your most obedient,
humble servant,
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE
WALTER LONG, M. P.,
